Jesaja 44:18

SV	Zij weten niet, en verstaan niet, want het heeft hun ogen bestreken, dat zij niet zien, [en] hun harten, dat zij niet verstaan.
WLC	לֹ֥א יָדְע֖וּ וְלֹ֣א יָבִ֑ינוּ כִּ֣י טַ֤ח מֵֽרְאֹות֙ עֵֽינֵיהֶ֔ם מֵהַשְׂכִּ֖יל לִבֹּתָֽם׃
Trans.	lō’ yāḏə‘û wəlō’ yāḇînû kî ṭ^aḥ mērə’wōṯ ‘ênêhem mēhaśəkîl libōṯām:

AC	יח לא ידעו ולא יבינו כי טח מראות עיניהם מהשכיל לבתם
ASV	They know not, neither do they consider: for he hath shut their eyes, that they cannot see; and their hearts, that they cannot understand.
BE	They have no knowledge or wisdom; for he has put a veil over their eyes, so that they may not see; and on their hearts, so that they may not give attention.
Darby	They have no knowledge, and understand not; for he hath plastered their eyes, that they may not see; and their hearts, that they may not understand.
ELB05	Sie haben keine Erkenntnis und keine Einsicht; denn er hat ihre Augen verklebt, daß sie nicht sehen, und ihre Herzen, daß sie nicht verstehen.
LSG	Ils n'ont ni intelligence, ni entendement, Car on leur a fermé les yeux pour qu'ils ne voient point, Et le coeur pour qu'ils ne comprennent point.
Sch	Sie erkennen und verstehen es nicht, denn ihre Augen sind verklebt, daß sie nicht sehen, auch ihr Herz, daß sie nichts merken.
